Choreography & Cocktails - 2026 Touring Fundraiser

RDC is preparing to tour our evening-length choreography for the very first time - help get us to Chicago for our May 28th - 31st performances of "Once Here, Still Moving"!

The total cost of this tour is approximately $8,750. Our annual grants, which support mission-driven program work in St. Louis/MO, cannot be applied to touring expenses. Sellout ticket revenue, after splitting ticket sales with Hot Crowd, is $4,000. We are fundraising to cover $2,500 of remaining expenses. Here's what your gift supports:

Accommodations: $750/night, 4 nights
Travel: $150/car, 3 cars
Parking: $20/day, 4 nights, 3 cars
Per Diem: $40/day/dancer, 5 days, 9 dancers
Dancer Pay: $16/hr/dancer, 20hrs, 9 dancers
Lighting Designer: Estimated stipend based on hours - $350

This is a huge milestone for RESILIENCE. While historically we've toured throughout Midwest festivals, we have only ever shared guest repertory or short works in a single mixed bill performance. This time around, we are taking a full, evening-length work created by Emily Haussler and the company to Chicago for not one, but four performances. We are thrilled to grow awareness of the company beyond St. Louis, to reach new audiences, and to build momentum for future touring models - particularly the exciting (and revenue-generating) prospect of being presented in new cities.
